Printing things out is a luxury I don't afford myself often. It consumes natural resources and expense. Yet sometimes, it is the only way I can really get a solid handle on a tricky subject to a level of high mastery that is needed for whatever task I am undertaking. Also, there is something beautifully freeing about not reading from a screen of any kind. Not relying on electricity or digital technology. Not being stunted by interface limitations. No annoying notifications or any sound aside from the satisfying sounds of paper interaction. Making notes in the margins. Highlighting. It feels like real paper because it IS real paper.
